It is my sincere honor and privilege to serve as the 46th President of the Memphis Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. Memphis Alumnae Chapter is one of the largest chapters of the Dynamic Southern Region of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. With a membership of over 700 diverse, gifted, talented, and dedicated college-educated women working together and advocating for the citizens of Memphis, Tennessee. We strive to exemplify our vision and mission noted in this statement: The Memphis Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority is a diverse sisterhood deeply rooted in social activism, cultural awareness, inclusion, and enhancement of educational opportunities while empowering the forward movement of economic development, growth, and well-being for the Greater Memphis Community.
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, is a private, not-for-profit organization, whose purpose is to provide assistance and support through established programs in local communities throughout the world, with a membership of more than 200,000 women in the United States and abroad dedicated to public service through our Five-Point Programmatic Thrust.
We are a chapter that believes in the power of collaboration and partnership with individuals and organizations that align with our purpose. Are you a Delta looking for a chapter home?
