Information

Sisterhood is at the heart of everything we do. While our chapter members come from all walks of life and professions, we unite together to live out the ideals of Delta through sisterhood, scholarship and service. Nothing makes us happier than to connect with one another, new or visiting sorors, collegiate sorors or likeminded service-oriented individuals or groups.

Our Members

Working together, the Memphis Alumnae Chapter (MAC) has achieved some amazing accomplishments taking our members to significant leadership roles within the sorority’s national and regional ranks, including leading the Dynamic Southern Region, producing three past Regional Directors, serving as National and Regional Chairs and members. You will find our 500+ members in the halls of state and local government, leading corporate and non-profit organizations, classrooms and in the home using our influence to champion issues and causes impacting women and children throughout the Memphis community.

Membership Committee

The Membership Services Committee shall foster the continued growth of the chapter by #MovingMACForward” through

  1. Planning efforts with activities targeting affinity groups including lines or chapters representation, aimed toward re-establishing affiliation of inactive sorors and retention of active sorors,
  2. Establishing a MAC 411 centralized resource repository
  3. Welcoming new, transitioning and visiting sorors to Chapter meetings and sponsored events.

Our Second Vice President will lead the committee executing fun-filled and purposeful events that are designed to strengthen our bond and maintain the “Joy in our Sisterhood”. We believe that every member can make an impact within our sisterhood and in our local community.

All chapter meetings are held on the first Saturday of the month at . Please be advised the attire for the chapter meeting is business professional (i.e. no jeans, no shorts, no spaghetti strap dress/shirt, or clothing items with the sorority symbols). In addition, MAC does offer free babysitting services during the meeting.

Please send inquiries regarding reclamation and other membership-centered programs to the Membership committee at mac2ndvicepresident@gmail.com.
