Heat Safety

Beat the Heat

Memphis heat + Tennessee humidity can be a dangerous combination.

This summer, prioritize your health by staying hydrated, protecting our skin, recognizing the signs of heat-related illness, and checking in on those who may be most vulnerable.

While melanin provides some natural protection, it does not eliminate the risks associated with prolonged sun exposure, dehydration, or extreme temperatures. A few simple precautions can make a significant difference for you, your family, and your community.

Stay safe. Stay cool. Stay hydrated.

Second Chance
