The Memphis Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., is now accepting applications for the Dr. Betty Shabazz Delta Academy mentoring program. The Delta Academy mentoring program, for girls in grades 6-8, focuses on self-esteem, personal growth, and goal setting in order to achieve academic and Black Girl Excellence.

The Jabberwock Committee is excited to launch recruitment for the 2026-2027 Miss Jabberwock Youth Enrichment Program, and we are asking the entire chapter to help us identify young women in grades 9-12 who are ready to learn, grow, lead, and shine.
This season, we are building upon the rich legacy of Miss Jabberwock with an enhanced emphasis on leadership and personal development, financial literacy, career and college readiness, cultural awareness, health and wellness, community service, confidence and poise, effective communication, etiquette, networking, and meaningful family experiences.
Our goal is to create an experience in which every participant leaves more confident, more connected, better prepared for her future, and empowered to make an impact in her community. The program will culminate in a reimagined Miss Jabberwock finale celebrating our participants' growth, talents, leadership, service, and accomplishments.
