Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated has a rich history of involvement in the international arena. The organization is committed to the plight of people living across the diaspora. Chapters around the nation prepare programs to impact lives of women and girls in Africa and Haiti.
The Memphis Alumnae Chapter’s International Awareness Committee (IAC) developed a mission “to assist women, women-led groups and girls in developing countries to become self-sufficient; and to create global awareness of their needs.” To that end, the MAC’s IAC created the following program goals.
