The coronavirus threatens to impact U.S. and world economies for years to come leading to almost certain declines in U.S. and world markets, unstable employment, threats to Social Security widening the gap between wealth and poverty. This is a clarion call for chapters, like MAC, to continue its commitment to the national sorority’s Economic Development programmatic thrust.

To that end, Memphis Alumnae Chapter Economic Development Committee will develop programs to encourage and empower our community to become financially literate and economically self-sufficient. We seek to provide monthly programming, as well as quarterly and annual events to ensure education and exposure are provided to the community we serve and beyond. We do this through the Financial Fortitude development and implementation of programs that address the Financial Planning and Consumer Literacy needs of our community. To learn more about these programs or how to participate, email macfinancialfortitude@gmail.com.
