MEMPHIS ALUMNAE CHAPTER
90 Years of Legacy and Leadership
In 1935, five visionary women chartered the Alpha Gamma Sigma chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. Twenty years later, in 1955, the chapter was re-designated as the Memphis Alumnae Chapter. For over eight decades, we have remained at the forefront of social action issues, championing social justice, advocating for strong public policies, and providing educational and scholarship support to anchor new generations of leaders in our community.
We will kick of our 90th Anniversary Celebration weekend with an evening of joy and reconnection! The Mixer will be a lively gathering designed to welcome Sorors, family, and friends as we come together in sisterhood. Expect music, light bites, fun icebreakers, and plenty of time to catch up and set the tone for the unforgettable weekend ahead.
The highlight of our 90th Anniversary Celebration! Step into an evening of elegance and tradition as we honor nine decades of leadership, legacy, and service. The Masquerade Gala will feature a formal dinner, live entertainment, dancing, and special recognitions that honor the rich history of the Memphis Alumnae Chapter. Don't forget your masquerade mask to add a touch of mystery and flair!
We'll close out the celebration with a beautiful brunch filled with love, laughter, and reflection. Join us as we celebrate the bonds of sisterhood and look ahead to the next chapter of impact and leadership. With delicious food, heartfelt remarks, and fellowship, the brunch will leave you inspired and uplifted.
